MC Dance Company Choreographers Jérôme Meyer and Isabelle Chaffaud are independent choreographic artists based in The Hague (NL) and supported by Korzo productions, the Culture Council of The Haag, the National Funds for Arts and various Dutch embassies. Their work plays between sensuous information, intuitive recognition, direct experiences and the creation of instant knowledge. The images created are framed by a strong dramaturgy and their dance is always creative, surprising and communicative. This season, they co-produced with Korzo “Bending Talking Body and Singing Voice” for Cadance 6,7,8 November 2008 with Valérie Guillorit. Isabelle Chaffaud created “Jitsam Vow” for “Here we live and now” on 29,30,5,6,7 February 2009 in Korzo Theater. “Diable au Corps”, a piece for five dancer, premiered this January 2008 at Korzo theatre in The Haag in the Netherlands was on tour in spring 2009. Next season MC dance will create with Marcus Graff a solo “No secret” , 29,30,31 October 2009. MC dance will further premiere a work at Danceworks Company Rotterdam in February 2010 and at Codarts Academy in June 2010.
